Question: Has a rat ever bitten you, and did you have to get a tetanus vaccine? Ps, this once happened to me with a mouse my cat brought in!

  I’ve never been bitten by a rat and I am very happy about that!!

  I have actually never been bitten by a rat – they’re all very friendly! I think mice are much more likely to bite people that rats are! If someone does get bitten they usually do get a tetanus vaccine but there’s no real risk of getting tetanus as the rats are so clean!
